The main tree pictured is located in my mom's garden. Placed in the backyard in the many gardens, this tree peels with color and shows off a lot of texture. This tree doesn't have many limbs near the bottom, and all of the limbs have a paper mache style and texture much like the trunk, but not as expressive. The greens in these photos are different put show off each type of tree color. The pine tree has a deep green, with a hint of blue; while the main tree show has a light green color like grass. These pictures are meant to make you see the kind of texture a picture can show off, as well as see how nature has so many beautiful aspects.
Located in my front yard, this pine tree has many shades of it's true self. When sun is shinning, the warm greens are shown, while in clouded skies, the tree comes off as a mix or green and blue. Although in photoshop, I turned up the blue color to bring out emotion and wonder. The tree has many faces, just like animal other animal on Earth making these two photographs relatable, and relevant. I want people to see the beauty in simple things, and indulge in it.
Even though the picture shown on the left seems simple, look at how the light from the sunset makes the colors on the tree stand out. The highlights and shadows are really shown in the texture of the trunk. In the second picture I want people to see how the arms are delicate and fragile. The extra limbs help bring out the beauty and the detailed science behind the tree's makeup.
Located in my backyard, this maple tree is taller than my two story house which in on top on a hill. The tree grows out it's branches far from the ground. In the summer and early fall, you can walk right into the leaves coated on each branch.

Once was a mediocre climbing tree in my moms garden, is now just another tree in my backyard. In the picture on the right, the image shows a small bit of snow that brings the eyes to the crevice of the tree and branch. The second picture reminds me of cells because of the way the wood on the tree is arranged. When looking at a microscope, cells a powerhouse that has a different color, which reminds me of the lighter green dots. In the first picture the image just shows off the green and textures of each tree.
I really wanted the colors to stand out and be the main center piece of the image. For example the pine tree and sun set has the brightest and boldest colors of the whole image. The second image, I brought out the highlights in each tree and enhanced the yellows in trees and the sky. Since the tree seems dark, I wanted the highlights and yellow to stand out to balance the image because of the contrast. Although the image on the right looks heavier compared to the image on the left.
